Designer Life

We often design our entire lives around our jobs, instead of designing our jobs around our lives. We pick the location of our homes based on proximity and commute convenience to work. We spend nights and weekends preparing for work. We think about work constantly. We act, think and carry ourselves like our coworkers and managers. We buy into the corporate culture and idolize the executives we report to (some deservedly, others respectfully misplaced). We become our jobs and our jobs become us.

What if we can live differently? What if we can design a life where our jobs served and catered to our needs? We can, millions are doing it. No, not just on Instagram and Facebook. Real people, real stories. Starts with desire and the commitment of making it happen.
