Only One Way Out

I remembered the first time I was fired from my job. I was worried, scared, deflated and totally broke. I didn’t know how to make it better. I felt so trapped, in my own head. And everyone I had spoken to was just like me. The advice they gave me was absolute garbage, but that’s all they knew. My teachers, my schooling, my parents, my friends, we all were in the same predicament, because we all thought the exact same way. All we knew was the traditional process: Go to school, get good marks, listen to your teachers, get a good job and work hard.

That is absolutely false! I had to learn that the hard way. Took a bit of time, but I learned eventually. There is a better way to live life. A life that doesn’t require you to depend on a steady pay check and an employer that dictates your happiness.

There’s only one way out, your way. Only you can decide if you want to do it. Make that promise to yourself and do it today.
